This beautiful country house hotel was built in 1958 by Gene McGillicuddy and today the hotel is run by his grandson; Padraig McGillicuddy who has maintained the high standard of service and values that the hotel has been known for ever since.
Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa is set on 100 acres of re-wilded land in the heart of the Kerry countryside in the South West of Ireland, overlooking the glorious Sliabh Mish Mountains and at the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Guests can explore the breath-taking wildflower meadows, bluebell woodlands, landscaped gardens or meandering walking trails either by foot or using the on-site bicycles. The property also have plans to align with Kerry County Council’s Green Way Project so that once launched, guests can walk/cycle from the hotel to the Wild Atlantic Coast.
The hotel’s warm interior and old world charm offer plenty of corners to hide away and relax in luxury surroundings, whilst our beautifully designed rooms and suites, many of which have been recently renovated, offer a restful nights sleep.
