Welcome to Ballygarry House

Welcome, we are delighted you have decided to stay with us, value your custom and are sure you will have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we have taken the following steps to ensure the ongoing safety of both our customers and team.

To enhance all of our safety, and in line with current legislation, it is requested that face masks or coverings are worn by our customers while moving around the hotel.

Check-In & Check-Out

Upon entering reception, you will be invited to check-in by one of the Front Office Team. Here they will reconfirm your booking details, familiarise you with the hotels facilities, take reservations for dining, and finally take a pre-authorisation on your credit card. This will then allow for a contactless check-out, whereby you simply drop your key in a basket at reception and your final account will be emailed to you.

To assist the Team we ask you to check-out by 11am on the morning of departure.

Guest Bedrooms

Our Accommodation Manager, Maria, and her team have worked tirelessly to ensure you arrive into a safe environment. We have introduced enhanced cleaning protocols which ensure all touch points in your room have been fully sanitised, including now replacing pillow protectors between guests. We have also removed items such as extra pillows, blankets, magazines and guest directories, which are all available on request (or you can view our guest directory online here). Finally we have introduced a ‘Do Not Enter’ status, whereby you can hang your ‘Do Not Enter’ card onto your door, ensuring you are the only people to enter your room during your stay without your express permission. Should you wish to restock your amenities & towels please contact the Front Office Team who will arrange this.

Restaurant 58

Eileen, Rosie & the Team in Restaurant 58 look forward to welcoming you to your most important meal of the day, your breakfast. As always your breakfast will be freshly cooked and served to your table for you. We maintain our Breakfast Buffet, however a member of the team will serve this to you, ensuring it remains hygienic. Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10.00am Monday to Friday, and until 10.30am on Saturday & Sunday mornings. We ask families with children arrive for breakfast between 7.30am and 9.00am. Should you require an early breakfast please let our Front Office Team know, and our Night Team would be delighted to organise a continental breakfast for you.

From Wednesday to Sunday evening, ‘Restaurant 58’ becomes one of the most sought after dining destinations locally, with a sumptuous menu prepared by Craig Lynch, utilising the very best quality ingredients, sourced locally in line with our core values.

The Brasserie

Since launching in 2017, The Brasserie has established itself as Kerry’s leading casual dining venue, offering something for ever palate, daily from 12.30pm to 9.00pm, you are sure to find a warm welcome and fantastic food. To ensure all our safety, tables have been removed to allow ample space, we have replaced our menus with placemats, increased our sanitisation procedures, increased our al fresco dining space and retrained our team.

As standard for dining arrangements, we assume guests seated on the same table are from the same household/family, and as such do not need to maintain a social distance from each other, should you wish your table to be spaced to allow for social distancing please inform us at time of booking.

Nádúr Spa

While restrictions exist due to Covid-19, Nádúr Spa is reserved solely for those guests enjoying treatments. To book your treatment, call Gina and her Team on extension 511. The Fitness Suite, Garden Trails, Ballyseede Woods Walks & Complimentary Bikes are available for guests.

Throughout your stay, we would ask all our guests to be mindful, give other guests and team members adequate space, wash and sanitise your hands frequently, and maintain good cough and sneeze etiquette. Should at any point you feel unwell, please remain in your bedroom, and contact the Front Desk Team by phone.

While I do realise that this welcome letter is a little more regimented than we would be used to, we do feel it is important to bring you up to date on the steps to protect everyone during this time. I am sure you will still enjoy the very best of Kerry Hospitality, and should you have any queries during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact either myself or one of the management team through the Front Desk.

Wishing you an enjoyable stay,

Padraig McGillicuddy
